How did Brawny Cat come to be?

Big Baby - My 25 lb. cat Big Baby loved to lounge on her cardboard cat scratcher. It was just her natural spot to hang out on. Her own scent, left by her scratching activity gave her a sense of ownership and comfort. Not that it was comfortable. It was flat and small (for her). She needed something larger that would also give her more comfort.

The Inspiration - I could not find anything in any store or on the internet that would give her the comfort she desired and deserved. This was the inspiration that led me to design and develop the Ultimate Cat Scratch Lounge.

Big Baby "test drives" the first Prototype of the Scratch'n Slumber Comfort Lounge way back in the early stages of development. (4 years ago)

The Upgraded Prototype Design - Big Baby's prerequisites were that it would be oversized and accommodating for cats of all sizes and multiple cats, especially her best bud - Little BooBoo. It was to be super comfortable, incorporate a heavy duty, long lasting scratching pad that was also reversible and replaceable. It would be elevated, and have a hidden storage space for kitty toys which would also collect cat scratching residue flakes so as to keep floors clean. Lastly, it's design would be a blending of creative form and function which would look gorgeous in any home in America.

It's a Keeper!

Although Big Baby & Little BooBoo crossed the Rainbow Bridge together last Summer, the inspiration she generated lives on for cats and kitties across America and beyond.
